Outside is a beautiful yet powerful countdown and shared calendar app. People use it for personal productivity to always have something to look forward to. But events can also be shared with friends, family or a partner to have one place to organize important events together.
You can sync events from your calendar which helps to make the most important ones more visual, fun and a widget on your home screen. We started Outside to help people get outside and with people in person. Right now we've been mostly focussed on first helping people feel excited about what's going on in their live and gradually add use cases which could work well with close friends, family etc.
Curious to hear feedback if you try it out. Currently on iOS only. Will add web/android in the future.
1. Facebooks shared albums are limited to 50 users with a max of 200 pics. The average person at a gig takes 20+ pictures as an example. FB shared albums cannot cater for this.
Also with Facebooks shared albums its limited to your own friends, on Venteo its an open platform where people can collaborate in the same album because they are attending the same event.
2. Good point, when I tell people about this they always ask "really, how do I find it". FB have never really marketed it nor ever made significant improvements since day 1.
