There is an old Chinese saying that cutting off someone's money is like killing their parents. Spam can bring benefits to the sender. This is the main reason why spam cannot be eliminated.

I'm developing a game, developing a game that I don't like to play myself. It's sad. If I had the money, I'd be working on a game I like to play.

Strictly hobbyist here. There is nearly zero overlap between game genres I like to work on as a developer and genres I enjoy as a player. I get the itch every now and again but the stuff I like best as a player is either art-intensive (so well outside my skills) or a huge technical undertaking.

What style of game is it that you're working on?

Casual tower defense style

what would you do with the money and how much would you need?

In fact, to be precise, it takes time. Now I trade my time for money to support my family. If there's enough time, I'd like to write a game engine in Rust that's good enough to take out cocoscretor's game engine. Use this engine to realize the Sutra of the Mountain and the Sea, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the Feng Shen Ban, the Romance of Sui and Tang dynasties... all kinds of scenarios as well as interactions I dreamed of.

What are you thinking? It's the business that matters, not the technical details. The program runs as long as it runs. What do you care how it runs. Expand the business first, and when you're making money, hire a programmer who can work out the technical details.

Totally, which is why I'm not working on it right now. That is why I asked so I could gather information :-)

However, I would prefer to give users a better experience and set up towards having diffs.

In addition, from test users behavior, it seems like some folks have 20+ mb PDF files that they make revisions on and upload. If they do 4-5 revisions on these files it blows out storage. Of course I can just pass these costs on, but if there's a way to do it more efficiently I'd rather do that.

Storage is unlimited for enterprise customers, but again I'm just wondering how to make this process better.

Like I said, text isn't a problem. It is these PDF and other formats where I'm wondering if there's some binary diff solution that already exists.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to reply.

Explicitly open multiple servers and this will have leaderboards that cover more people to do. Then open treasure chests to get props. Theoretically, everything inside the game is a prop: like buffs, debuffs, skins, skills, heroes ...... Players need more positive feedback to entice them to keep playing, and leaderboards and opening treasure chests are the easiest and most brutal.
