I’ve also tried switching from a MBP 2017 15” to the new air and it’s a really good laptop. Love the weight, battery life, CPU is not as good but enoughly, typing is back to good. My main grip and the reason I’ve returned it was the screen. I don’t mind the brightness, but colors were faded away and the gap is big between a MBP screen. Final blow was no True Tone making the pick even less attrative.
