Wouldn’t be surprised if the carbon footprint of reclaiming the wood is higher than growing new bamboo too. It’s like an environmentalist taking a private jet to Davos.

The price appears to be for the Teak, which is a quite expensive wood. The Doug Fir isn’t available yet but I would expect it to be less expensive
