I'm eyeing Unihertz Jelly 2. It has soap form factor with 2000mAh battery, but sadly it has Mediatek SoC.

The first one was not great, the display specifically. Maybe that changed? I'd wait for a review on that.

That Android does not work well with a device that small should remains as an issue, but at least the gesture controls it has now could help a bit.

If so, that’s too bad. I’d like one as my daily driver, but it sounds like it won’t cut it. I wonder if it could be underclocked or something.

Why can’t they make it even thicker?


What the is the drawback of a Mediatek SoC?


poor security & quality. it's ok for doing hw compartmentalization (throwaway/burner) but they die like flies.
