Your (poorly informed view, IMO) of the world does not consider immoral and illegal activities carried out by law enforcement and those with authority. Stalking, and harassment and abuse based on stalking, is a problem. Making it easier and simpler with facial recognition causes bigger problems. And this is just one example.
