There are number of innovative ideas in this machine besides the upside-down printing. Recommended if you have an interest in the topic.


The biggest innovation, IMO, is lowering of moment arm (which reduces vibrations and inaccuracy due to twisting of the frame) by locating gantry close to the floor and hotend design. Portability, author seems to focus on, is not important to me.


That's definitely a big deal. I know my printer starts to vibrate a bit once the print height gets above a certain level.
