Sounds like battery performance is better than on Windows for the 860 G6. In my experience seeing those in enterprise settings, they last like 4-5 hours max, probably less. But then again people are running Teams, Outlook, Edge chromium and other resource hogs.
KDE's energy saving mode probably helps a bit, and I hate hearing the fans or feeling lags so whenever I feel something I handle this. But that's not so usual. The main culprit is usually Signal. Video conferences and playing videos in the browser may also spin the fans but I often have a NC headset during these times.
