I'd love to see a new Jobs movie, but damn they'd have to be very selective with casting.

Having read the Facebook Effect and then watched the adaptation, I can see that Sorkin has a knack for twisting the story to create drama, and I'm not sure that would fly with Apple, but who knows. Is this something where Jobs' family would have to give permission?

The Social Network was adapted from The Accidental Billionaires by Ben Mezrich. The screenplay followed the original book closely.

I stand corrected.

I doubt permission would have to be given - and at least in the case of the book permission was given.

I'd also love to see a good Jobs movie, and looking at Moneyball and The Social Network, it proves it can be done right if they continue the trend.

It would be a daunting task on Sorkin's part, that's for sure.

Noah Wyle.

Jobs is a non-living public figure.

In the last Sorkin tech movie go-round, the main characters certainly didn't give anyone permission to distort the facts, but they did anyway.

I was under the impression that Mark Zuckerberg did not explicitly endorse the Facebook movie.
