Yeah, that's also how I feel.

Though, imagine being able to leave behind the responsibility for all the technical debt you've accrued -- must be nice :)

On the other hand, I don't want to live like nothing matters. I want to build stuff. And I want to care about technical debt and keep it manageable.

Beyond a certain point, money is just numbers on a bank account or in stock portfolio. They have minimal impact on my life.



All the more reason to leave the goog and go work in the biomed or space industries. You're not pressured by money, so why build ad platforms for tech monopolies?
