The only song generator I like is https://sonauto.ai because you can upload clips of real songs and change the lyrics like a Weird Al parody. I suspect that's all most people would like to do with these apps, and I also suspect that they don't let you do it for legal reasons, not technical reasons.
You upload a clip and type a description that matches the music you uploaded plus the different lyrics you want. You may have to tune the settings to get it to change the lyrics without making too many changes to the melody. There's a slider to control the relative importance of the uploaded music vs the typed lyrics and instructions. You may also have to tweak the spelling of the lyrics to guide the pronunciation.
Yea. Maybe it's an age thing. But at this point I just can't be bothered to sign up for accounts of sites that don't even let me use and sample it once.

- Pricing: I cannot understand why these kind of services require monthly subscription, it look weird to subscribe a service that I use a few times in a year.
Looks promising. I found a music generator called heymusic.ai and was considering subscribing, the songs were fun to make with the kids, but then it disappeared off the face of the earth with no updates anywhere online. I'm cautious of subscribing to AI services, lots of GEN AI startups popping up and it's not easy to make a profit
Seriously, I respect the work that has gone into something like this, but I struggle to see any market for it. The world is not crying out for more new songs. Spotify has over 100,000 uploaded a day. Admittedly a proportion will be generated, but honestly, who really needs them?
