My first thought: if I let AI play the PCs so I can DM for the first time in decades, wouldn't that be weird and pointless?

My second thought: how many hours of my life have I spent playing with/against computer game opponents again?

As others have mentioned, I have been using Claude to write some prompts for things, give me some ideas for scenarios with younger players, and name some cities and towns in my campaign.
