The problem is, they aren't just deporting people who are here illegally. They are stopping and detaining people without reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime. They are putting people in detention and shuffling them across the country to delay basic habeas corpus to determine why they are detained. Many of the people they are picking up on ice detainers have committed no crimes and they are here legally in the country through a documented status, which is why they're able to find them so easily. There are numerous news articles where people are showing up for their scheduled court dates because they are legally allowed to be here in the country and when the judge approves them for release immigration comes and picks them up right outside the courthouse. That is totalitarianism when the government is ignoring the rule of law.
So while the majority of the US population agrees that if you are here illegally you should be deported. That's not strictly what's happening. When you point out that the government has a history of abusive power and that many of the people picked up have their entire lives ruined because they're here legally, they have work permits and a documented status to be here, but they are detained for many months so they lose their job their apartment their credit rating is destroyed all of their possessions that they've acquired over many years are lost, and so they self-deport. Which is totally different than the US government deporting someone here who is illegal.
What is going on right now is totalitarianism which if you look around he will find the judges having to remind the government that someone speaking a different language or having a different skin color is not reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime. When the rights of one person are trampled the rights of all of us are trampled and it is totalitarianism.
Possible outliers, while great for controlling unthinking masses, does not represent the norm.
People are being manipulated by media, paid activist networks, and paid liers to misrepresent the situation, with the goal of making the right thing to do for the country sound horrible.
The original plan was to flood illegals into swing states and then rush them into citizenship, so "the glorious democrat party" would never need to vote again .
You're not opposing it. What you're doing is undermining the foundation of the country. The idea that all people are equal and have rights guaranteed to them. When you deny the rights of anyone and you use a perceived conspiracy as your justification to deny the rights of people, you destroy everything including yourself.
What you call flooding of illegals in, you need to do some research on. Because being granted parole for an asylum case means you are not here illegally. You have a legal and documented status following the processes and laws laid out. It is also following the processes and laws to reject asylum as well. In no way can you call these people illegals. They are absolutely 100% legally allowed to be here in those situations.
If you just used a small amount of critical thinking skills, you would understand that the reason that they were able to pick up so many people, without probable cause, is because they are legal documented statuses so they knew exactly where to find them. If someone was here illegally they would not have a work permit they would not have an alien ID number and they would be incredibly difficult to find.
If you want to change the law, if you want to adjust what can be considered for asylum I would support that. If you want to take your holy crusade and deny people's fundamental rights to do process then I will not support you and I will never support you. The legal system in this country, one of the core tenants, is that it's better that 10 guilty people go free than for one innocent person to be put in jail. Pay attention to what's happening right now because they're coming for people who are legally allowed to be here denying their rights. It will not be long until they start coming for anyone who is deemed and undesirable. That can include you.
