Okay, I just did some research on this, and I must have misremembered the title. The closest I can come to where I believe I got this quote is:

"Cape Horn: One Man's Dream, One Woman's Nightmare"

But I have to say, I've been telling that story for 25 years now, and honestly, I can't be sure the above is the title that contains the quote.
