I think motorsports is going to fade away over time. Especially in car racing the technology got so advanced, that it's starting to get more and more boring.

If/When self driving cars become widely available, it might start to feel absurd and artificial.

I used to watch most F1 races as a kid. But it just doesn't feel interesting anymore.
