The thing about NYC and viralness that I myself noticed is how people line up for hours to try that new food thing at this particular restaurant/food truck that everyone raves about. Or a new bar/club. Or anything, really. The FOMO is quite literally tangible in this city if you're inquisitive enough to spot it.
