This is a problem common to international business acquisitions, wherein changing exchange rates usually changes the effective purchase/sales price (depending on your POV). For this reason, acquisition agreements fix the price as of a certain date, and the parties bear the risk of loss, or the fortune of gain, arising from changes to the exchange rate after the deal is signed but before payment is effectuated.
