The problem is with this part of the statement:
"Google Cast Ready speakers pull content directly from the cloud, so you’ll get the best audio quality"
Pulling content from the cloud doesn't not mean you'll get "the best" audio quality.
Streaming over the internet will yield better quality than a Bluetooth stream which compresses the music. The bits that hit the speaker are as high quality as the source material.
