Wierd, I just updated to v128 (been offline a couple of days) on android, and the Settings -> Data Collection -> Marketing wad already off. I already had the usage and studied off, so maybe that's why
In Norwegian, “kan” may mean either “can” or “may” depending on context. That’s a source of confusion sometimes. Not sure about Danish, but I don’t think it can mean “must”.
My kid's Steiner school has them outside playing for two hours plus every morning, rain or shine. I hope this will save him from having myopia as deeply awful as my own.
I suspect it's npt just Samsung. Both google and microsoft (SwiftKey) does the same thing.
The worst part is that the most used national ID-function now stops you from using third party "approved" keyboard due to (misguided) security reasons. Both AnySoftKeyboard and AOSP keyboard is banned.
I wouldn't mind so much of Google/Microsoft/Samsung etc collected all data in house (including subcontractor companies who won't share this information with anyone else). If they kept it to themselves and said "just trust me, bro" to advertisers and kept my data to themselves I don't think I'd mind too much. But clearly that's not what happens here. They don't have nearly enough leverage against the advertisers.
Yep, this is part of the reason I avoid google like the plague. Everything else works like a charm in FF, so why would I use an inferior product? Granted, I don't use youtube, but everything else has better alternatives away from big evil.
While I wouldn't object, it's not necessary. Voting in the UK is always on Thursdays IIRC, but there's lots of polling stations and they open early and close late. Queues are usually only a few minutes. However postal and proxy votes are still available
